• Added: Tooltips for cells with notes or active alerts.  On by default, but can be turned off by unchecking the "data tips" option in the program Display preferences.
• Fixed: Position of =TOTAL line not saved.
• Fixed: Minor colorization issues.  For selected rows, text color is now a blend of the system highlight and the desired non-selected text color.
• Added: Just for fun, I added a little shortcut so you can see the full name of a stock in a tooltip if you move your mouse over the ticker symbol while holding down the Shift key on your keyboard.
• Fixed: (Charts) Improved log axis labeling.
• Fixed: No external notifications happen for changes to the Cash account balance.  This was causing a problem with getting cash value through the DDE service.
• Updated: Improved error handling during document save.

• Fixed: Duplicate ticker update requests when more than one instance of a ticker exists in a portfolio.  This should also speed up queries.

• Fixed: (Charts) Incorrect time offset for intraday charts causes intraday data to be displayed incorrectly for non-US timezones.
• Fixed: (Custom Columns) Memo columns on cash accounts can not be edited.

• Updated: (Custom Columns) Sorting on custom columns now works properly for memo columns with numeric formatting.  It now correctly sorts by numeric value instead of by character code value.

• Fixed: Display color text and cells in selected row.
• Added: Ability to enable/disable columns by right-clicking on header.  Secondary sort still works holding Ctrl key during right click.

• Fixed: When "do not update" override is set to prevent automatic updates, even a manual update won't update the prices.  This was a side-effect of switching to the new Yahoo feed, and is now fixed.
• Fixed: Name field is overwritten even if it is already filled in.

• Added: (Charts) Option to follow the selection in Active Securities, under right-click menu. By popular request.

6.0 (December 5, 2005)

• Replaced: PC Quote MarketSmart Real-Time data retrieval now uses PC Quote's new XML interface for much faster updates.  This will also be much more reliable since we are no longer parsing the web page.
• Replaced: Yahoo quote server now uses Yahoo's CSV interface for much faster updates, and Yahoo RSS feeds for news headlines.  This is taken care of automatically if you use the Yahoo! quote services.  This will ensure that changes to the Yahoo web site do not affect quote retrieval.
• Updated: Make sure that Yahoo historical data download automatically adjusts the data for splits.
• Added: Basic charts package ported from Personal Stock Streamer.  The new charts are much faster, automatically download historical data as necessary, have zooming, and much better moving average support.
• Other minor internal fixes.
