Running 9.2.3 build 351
I am a new user - really liking this app! Thank you.

Noticed what may be a bug, or maybe I am doing something wrong:

When I have a list of stocks in a portfolio I have the dbl-click action set to view the historical chart. Once I 2x-click a symbol and the chart comes up and paints, I cannot use the left-arrow or right-arrow in the lower left corner of the chart window to backup/advance to the previous/next ticker symbol in my portfolio list - the window does not refresh with the chart data for the new symbol.

Any ideas, or bug?

Thanks.

Bob

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this.

I haven't been able to reproduce the problem though. After you double-click the ticker and the chart comes up, is the ticker still selected in the Active Securities list?

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, when I hit the "next" arrow button in the chart window, the blue highlight bar focus in the main window does indeed shift to the next security, however, the chart window is empty and does not display the market data for the next security in the list.

Is the new ticker symbol displayed in the Symbol field of the chart window? What is your history data service set to under Options->Preferences->Historical data?

Yes, the new ticker symbol gets displayed in the lower left of the chart window when I move with the arrow keys.

History is turned off (not checked). I tried a test with it checked (turned on) today, and still had the same results.

I am having the same problem with charts
when I use the <> icon it advances the stock symbol but the chart comes up blank
When pressing is changes to new symbol for a moment the chart is there and it retieves data and the chart goes blank
Version 928 build 361
history data service is set to Yahoo

Some additional info - when in the chart and using <> it changes the ticker and it alos moves the highlight in active securities list.

I found that if you uncheck the box in
preferences - chart - follow the selection in active securties view
that it works correctly - not sure if this a a bug or not but it did solve the problem

Yes, unfortunately the "follow selection" option doesn't work right with the < > buttons. We'll have to take a look at it for a future release.

Hope you saw my message 7 of 8 -
It has something to do with that setting
Unchecking is solved the problem here

Might help on the future version to resolve it. But it does work correctly when it is unchecked
